Most of what Rekall Media Group does starts with a simple question: what deserves to be documented?
We’ve asked that question on competition stages, in gym sessions, and at car shows in industrial rail yards. The answer is always the same — the moments people work hardest for, the things built with real passion, the experiences worth remembering. That’s what we shoot.
Conventions are no different.
How It Started
Chattanooga Comic Con has been part of my life for a long time. Henry Thornburg — one of the organizers — is a friend I’ve known since we were kids. When C3 started growing into something real, I wanted to be part of documenting it the right way.
Last year we started doing floor interviews and coverage at the convention. Liz Thornburgh, one of the C3 owners, loved what she saw and wanted more of it. That’s when I started building something bigger around the idea — not just showing up with a camera, but creating a real media brand around convention coverage.
So I built a plan. Monthly content leading up to the convention. Interviews with celebrity guests and vendors. A live embedded segment on the convention floor. And after the event, a YouTube library that lives permanently and drives interest for the next show.
Episode One
Today we launched Episode 1. Ashley and Grace sit down with Liz Thornburgh for a real conversation about how Chattanooga Comic Con works from the inside — how celebrity guests get selected, what makes a great vendor, how to get involved as a volunteer, and what makes C3 the community event it’s become year after year.
It’s not a press release. It’s not a highlight reel. It’s two people who care about this convention asking the questions fans actually want answered.
